Vasectomy Reversal

Precise, tailored microsurgery; performed by a fellowship‑trained male‑fertility specialist

Discover a path to fertility with a modern, “mini‑incision” vasectomy reversal. Using a tiny opening and an operative microscope, the procedure is designed to minimize scrotal swelling and speed recovery. If your anatomy calls for it, a traditional incision may be the better choice; we will always use the approach that gives you the best chance of success.

Advanced training and an experienced team

  • Fellowship‑trained in men’s health & microsurgery - Dr. Langille completed a fellowship in male fertility and microsurgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

  • Operative microscope – Every reconstruction is performed under high magnification with ultra‑fine sutures to maximize success rates.

  • Prepared for complex cases – In most patients we can reconnect the vas to the vas (vasovasostomy). If the blockage lies closer to the testicle, Dr. Langille can perform the more intricate vasoepididymostomy (also called epididymovasostomy), a technically demanding bypass that joins the vas directly to the epididymis. The final plan is made during surgery after assessing the fluid and tissues, giving you the best chance of a successful outcome.

Why the “mini‑incision” matters

  • Focused healing - Smaller incision, less tissue handling, typically less swelling and discomfort.

  • Same high standards - If your anatomy suggests a traditional incision would serve you better, we’ll choose that, as precision and results come first.

What to expect

  1. Personalized consult – We’ll review your vasectomy history and timeline, discuss goals, and outline individualized success rates and options.

  2. Day of surgery – The plan (vasovasostomy vs. vasoepididymostomy) is finalized in the operating room under the microscope.

  3. Recovery – Most people rest for several days, avoid heavy lifting for a few weeks, and follow a simple after‑care plan. We’ll guide you on timing for semen testing and next steps.

Your next steps
